Miyuki's history is essentially the same as his canon history, but after high school he was recruited by the Carp, and moved to Hiroshima, where he has been a star catcher for the last five years. He was an obvious choice when the time came to put together the Samurai Japan roster for the WBC three years prior, and has been the starting catcher since. |

After consideration, he took the offer, but over the course of his sophomore and junior years, he damaged his right knee enough that a professional career was no longer on the table, and instead he threw himself into his actual major: journalism. Miyuki has been a reporter at the Shikoku Times for six years, but only recently became a prominent reporter. The Olympics are a dream assignment for him, and it shows. |

He recently cut a large swath of his characteristic bangs out of his face, and is known to be pretty shy when it comes to attention from media. |

After his best friend in elementary school moved to Russia to better train in figure skating, Sousuke threw himself into his own training, practically ignoring the strain he was putting on his ankle until it was almost too late. A few years off the ice almost ruined his chances at the games, but that therapy was what he needed to give him another shot. |

He's something of a well-rounded player, excelling at both offense and defense, and works well in a pinch, although he has a bad habit of taking risky shots (to reflect the fact he only swings at fastballs). At least he's a good senpai. |

She was tapped for the U-19 national team in high school, and played there while attending college, until she turned 20. She currently plays for a team in Kyushu, in addition to the Olympic team. Kuumin is quiet and somewhat airheaded, but is a committed and dependable teammate and friend. |
